Our Story
राजमाता जिजाऊंच्या संस्कारातून आणि मार्गदर्शनातून घडलेल्या छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या स्वराज्य संकल्पनेतून प्रेरणा घेऊन, सह्याद्रीच्या पावन भूमीत जन्म घेतलेली ही संस्था म्हणजेच मोरणा फाउंडेशन, तडवळे. या संस्थेचे “मोरणा”हे नाव शिराळा तालुक्यातील डोंगर - कपारीतून उगम पावणाऱ्या मोरणा नदीवरून घेण्यात आले आहे. याच मोरणा नदीच्या पाण्यावरती शिराळा तालुक्याच्या पंचकृषीतील शेतकरी सुखसमाधानने शेती व्यवसाय करत आहेत. जसे नदीचा उगम हा जीवनाची सुरुवात दर्शवतो, तसेच समाजाच्या विकासाची, परिवर्तनाची आणि नव्या विचारांची सुरुवात या संस्थेतून व्हावी या भावनेतून मोरणा फाउंडेशन हे नाव निश्चित करण्यात आले आहे. मोरणा फाउंडेशनची स्थापना ही केवळ एक संस्था उभी करण्यासाठी नव्हे, तर सर्वसमाजाच्या गरजांना प्रतिसाद देणारी एक सेवाभावी व्यवस्था निर्माण करण्यासाठी करण्यात आली. ज्या सेवा-सुविधा गावापर्यंत पोहोचत नाहीत, त्या सेवा सर्वसमाजापर्यंत पोहोचवणे—हा संस्थेचा मुख्य उद्देश आहे.
Inspired by the ideals of Swarajya envisioned by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, shaped through the values and guidance of Rajmata Jijau, Morana Foundation, Tadawale was established in the sacred land of the Sahyadri region. The name “Morana” is derived from the Morana River, which originates from the hills and valleys of Shirala Taluka. The farmers of this region depend on the waters of the Morana River for their agricultural prosperity and livelihood. Just as the origin of a river signifies the beginning of life, the foundation aims to become a starting point for social development, transformation, and new ideas. Morana Foundation was not established merely as an organization, but as a service-oriented system dedicated to addressing the needs of all sections of society. Its primary objective is to ensure that essential services and benefits, which often do not reach rural areas, are effectively delivered to every section of society.
सह्याद्रीच्या कड्या-कपारींमध्ये वसलेले, श्री योगी गोरक्षनाथ तसेच छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज यांच्या पदस्पर्शाने पावन झालेला शिराळा (जिल्हा सांगली) या नागभूमीच्या तालुक्यातील एक छोटंसं पण संस्कारांनी मोठं असलेलं गाव म्हणजे तडवळे.
या गावात सर्व जाती-जमातीतील नागरिकांनी एकत्र येऊन सामाजिक बांधिलकीतून सन 2020 साली मोरणा फाउंडेशनची स्थापना केली.
Nestled in the rugged ranges of the Sahyadri mountains, Shirala (Sangli district) revered as Nagbhoomi and sanctified by the footsteps of Yogi Gorakshanath and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj—is home to a small yet culturally rich village called Tadawale. In this village, people from all communities came together with a strong sense of social responsibility to establish the Morana Foundation in the year 2020.
